May 2008
Well, really, I need to start with May 2008. What a month. The first weekend, my nephew, Kyle married Melanie in a lovely ceremony followed by an even lovelier reception. My sister-in-law and niece and their families from CA stayed with us and it was a full, but fun, house. Sister-in-law Carolyn stayed an extra 5 days to help me design necklaces. She has a great eye and she helped put together over a dozen necklaces. The one to the right is called “Morocco”. Also in May, my cousin Andrew graduated from NYU and nephew Lance graduated from Cornell. During Lance’s graduation we went to see our dear friends Rob and Hetty, now living in Elmira, NY. They have a huge old Victorian house and Rob has been busy painting up a storm and Hetty has done a beautiful job on the gardens.
